PCI compliance is now a big issue for all e-commerce developers and e-commerce businesses. All concerned must ensure they have an appropriate levle of PCI. The unfortunate thing is some descriptions of the levels seem confusing and may cause frustration until indepth research is carried out. Server scans are required and appropriate paper work must be completed by your ecommerce business. If when processing ecommerce sales you use person not present options then different levels will apply. Good news is that there are third party options to avoid this if you dont feel confident with your inhouse processes and server status etc.
